Extension Privacy Policy

Short version: Our browser extensions do not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything happens locally in your browser. There are no servers, no accounts, and no tracking.

1. What data we collect

None. All found2x browser extensions operate entirely within your browser. We do not collect any personal information, browsing history, or usage analytics.

2. How the extensions work

Our calculator extensions process all data locally on your device:

  • Price inputs — You enter prices, shipping costs, and other values. These stay in your browser and are never sent anywhere.
  • Fee calculations — All math happens in JavaScript running in your browser.
  • Settings — If you save preferences, they're stored in your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local) and never leave your device.

3. Permissions

Our extensions request minimal permissions:

  • storage — Used to save your preferences (like last used currency or country). Data stays on your device.

That's it. We don't request access to your tabs, browsing history, or any website data.

4. Network requests

Our extensions make zero network requests. All calculations are performed offline using built-in data files that ship with the extension. Exchange rates and fee structures are embedded in the extension and updated when we release new versions.

5. Third-party services

Our extensions do not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

6. Data sharing

We do not sell, share, or transfer any user data to third parties — because we do not collect any.

7. Children's privacy

Our extensions are not directed at children under 13. Since we collect no data, we have no data about users of any age.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify users via the extension's update notes in the Chrome Web Store.
